We had some professional photos taken last week. This is my favorite shot of Sydney. :)Yesterday she started doing the first step in getting on her feet and walking...she had her hands and feet flat on the floor, legs straight, and butt in the air (let's call it the "bear crawl"). She is really working on learning how to get those legs to stand her up and we are sure she will be taking her first steps within the next couple of months! Her babbling is becoming more syllabic with baba and mama becoming more frequent and mimicking of gestures and signs; she has also started blowing raspberries. We are very happy with her progress.

Love the photo of Sydney - she's beautiful! That "bear crawl" must be an SLC thing but our son does the same thing. He can move fast like that. I don't think it will be long before he is walking. . .and I will be happy about that! Maybe it will keep him from putting everything on the floor into his mouth!

Oh, what a cutie pie! I bet Erich never thought he would be caught on tape acting like a horse a year or two ago :) !
What a beautiful baby. It looks like she has been with you forever.What joy! Thanks for checking in on us when we were sick. We are much better now.
